One of my favorite performers to see live died today.
He always conveyed a feeling of familiarity to the audience so I feel a personal loss at his passing.

Brubeck was one of my fathers favorite musicians. I learned shortly after to love his music as well. 'Time out' might have been his most famous piece at the time, but recently, I learned there was a variety of music written by him.
