Sorry to have heard about the passing of Pandit Ravi Shankar -- one of the great sitarists and one who was instrumental in bridging the gap between traditional Northern Indian Classical musics and Western musics.  An innovator, teacher, master and of course, the father of Nora Jones.  He was 92.

I for one will miss him.

I saw him live in Tucson with another one of his young daughters. It will forever be in my memory. I have loved his music for decades, and feel a debt to such a talented man. Love IS you Ravi.
