I recently acquired a pair of JBL L100 speakers. They are are being driven by the BH Stereomour which  I would guesstimate, at 250 hours on it. I think it's broken -in. Alll I can say is it is definitely a great match than the Heresy/Stereomour combo. The L100's are pretty efficient as well. I al also testing out a pair of SIGNET SL260 speakers. They sound great but a little on the inefficient side.
I'm just sharing what's been going on lately with my setup. Are there otheres here using the L100? :)

If I were to want any speaker from the past, I'm sure the L100 would be in the top three. The Jubal L65 would stand in there also. I would like to know what impressions of the L100 you have . I have not ever even heard them, but I remember how sought after they were.

I've posted this before, so just a quick note - I have L36's which are fairly similar to L100s. I use them with my SEX 2.0 with the video setup; really quite satisfactory.

The L100 is not transparent as the SIGNET SL260.

The Signet is more laid back and gives you a more natural bass. The L100 tends to be boomy but you hear more of everything. Imaging is not as good as Sig. I tested the L100 on floor stands and slightly tilted up (it will give you the same sound with the tweeters at ear level). I find the floor position/tilted sounding better and gives you more open sound and bigger sound stage. The Sig being a smaller loudspeakers is pleasing but does not sound BIG like tje L100.
