I just upgraded some parts prior to installing Speedball, and now I have a hum in the right channel.  I ins stalled new tube sockets, RCA jacks and a tdk pot.  I have reheated grounds and no change.  All resistance checks are ok, but I only have 75 v at terminal one.  I have not installed Speedball, and amp worked perfectly before upgrades.  I also used Kimber wire between pot and RCA, including ground wire.  Any suggestions?

Thanks

Brent M

Put the old parts back, one by one.  Test the amp after each old part is installed to see which one is giving you trouble.

Thanks Paul
Problem solved.  I had a bad 9 pin socket.  If the tube was fully seated, I got hum in the right channel.  As Imdid my testing, the tube (which didn't want to stay seated) worked its way up on the front pins (1,2,8,9) and the hum went away.  Reinstalled my original socket, and all is well.  Will start the Speedball install Thurs or Friday.  I want to listen t o the new parts for a couple days first.
Thanks again for your help.
