I just want to write up this post as a first impression and how I (and my brother) made it!

First up, this amp is great. I'm really enjoying the sound and have started to hear things unheard before. I would recommend anyone this, the instructions are clear and on the point, also the parts came neatly packaged.

What's different from the stock:
 - No longer gravity mounted, slide in top plate.
 - A bottom plate with ventilation
 - Machine screws on the side with pockets for nuts in the front and back plate.

I am fortunate to have a brother with a CNC-machine so we made the pockets and holes with ease and accuracy! :)

The finished amp!

(Going to have to invest in some home made silver phonos :D )

So for the top plate mounting we decided to just have a ridge to slide the top plate in, this would ensure that it would not fall out anywhere and give it a little more completed look, also safer!

As shown here, you just slide the top plate in. You can also see the pockets of the nuts for the bolts in the small plate.

And for a bit safer handling we made a 6mm bottom plate with ventilation.

Bonus, CNC-machine!
