Ok, this thread is going to be fingernails on the chalkboard for those vinylphiles out there. But the truth is, most of us "normal" folks are listening to digital. I have recently upgraded various digital pieces of kit, that I wont get into now.
The message is... I have compared, using JRiver, various sample rates for sound quality. Its an easy process. All you have to do is stop the music and restart in a new rate. Sorry NOS groupies. It gets better as the sample rate goes up. Multiples of 44.1? Doesnt matter. 192khz is as high as I can go with my DAC. Its the best. My DAC plays it like it comes in. Everything is better. Cleaner highs, crisper bass. Its all there. If my DAC could process it I could go as high as 384khz. God love computers! (more chalk board scraping).
