  Hello.

I imagine this is impossible, however I thought I would throw out: any way to Frankenstein a Quickie 1.1 tube kit with a Dewalt (older school) charger radio? Yes I know, the tubes would not be as indestructible as the rest of the radio/charger, and I would have to figure out where to put everything. I'm pretty sure I can make it work structurally . Esthetically and electronically , however , it may not even be possible. This kit runs on batteries and so does the Dewalt, so , well , that's about all I know!

I appreciate anyone that wants to take this on.

The Dewalt runs on a single battery pack, the Quickie needs 3, other than that you could probably poke some holes in the radio and make it work...
