Does anyone have a good source for 3:1 heat shrink? I'm getting frustrated by 2:1, which often isn't enough for my needs (particularly when trying to cover a large terminal attached to a small wire -- I need to use large diameter heat shrink in order to cover the terminal, but there is tons of space left around the wire entry point, because 2:1 heat shrink doen't shrink enough).

I see that Pcx has a good collection of 3:1 heat shrink, next to other types.

Thanks. Yeah, my problem with PCX for something like that is the shipping costs wind up being exorbitant relative to the cost of the heat shrink.

i always buy those types of supplies from ebay - lots of sellers there that do bulk and/or normal human being quantities.

Check out WireCare.com. They have a back to school sale going on.

Wirecare.com is pretty cool. A bit pricey, but a nice source I wasn't aware of. I don't see any details of their sale, however. Also: too bad they don't sell wire, too. It would have been nice to have a source for wire and wire-related materials.

Regards,
Adam

Yeah, agree. A one stop shop would be ideal. I haven't found one that suits all my needs, but perhaps others have good suggestions and can lead us both to new sources.

As for the WireCare sale, looks like it may be on specific items (per the promo email that I didn't really look at until now, sorry). Anyway, they have types of braided sleeving that I haven't found elsewhere, so I haven't paid much attention to price competitiveness in the past.

Thanks. I plan on ordering from them soon, so I'll probably just add that to my order.
