Hey Guys,

First of all fantastic kit, very funny to assemble, thought I did a pretty solid job but...

Resistance check went ok, tried to turn it on and nothing happens (nothing glows), fuse is blown (bought 4/5 just in case and blown another 2).

Tried to measure L and N and it reads 225V so ok for EU, 4-5 and 9-10 on the PSU read 0.

Ps how do I know I got a 220v PSU ?

What should I do now ?

Edit:Diodes and capacitors looks like they are oriented correctly

Thanks!

For the voltage of the transformer. It's written on it. Here "240V Bottlehead PT-3". For your problem, is the transformer rightly oriented? Rarely, the label is put in reverse. You could check if the numbers on the label match with the numbers on the transformer. Or, I read somewhere Doc saying it could be a blown rectifier diode. You can control them with a meter.
