Different Left and Right Voltage Readings

Hi,

I got my seduction kit last year and finally finished building it.  When I did the final voltage checks there are some pretty big differences between the left and right channels.  I have the C4S constant current upgrade installed.

Here are the readings:

26, 36   6mV           10.1mV

Any ideas?

The only major discrepancy I see are the plate voltages at B1 and B6. Most likely, the tubes are new and the emission is limited while the cathode breaks in. It is useable as is, and I would be surprised if the voltages don't settle down after 50-100 hours of operation, sometimes faster. If that doesn't happen, post again and we'll look more closely.

In the last few years, we've seen this quite a bit. It suggests the manufacturer did not take the time to fully form the cathodes - which they do, as you might have guessed, by operating the tube for 50-100 hours!

Hi Again,

Just wanted to let you know that I switched the tubes and all the offset voltage values swapped channels so it does appear to be a tube issue.
