Managed to get Shairport working on Arch Linux on Raspberry Pi in conjunction with Logitech Media Server and squeezelite but it took two DAC's.
Not real elegant but pretty darn cool in my estimation and another streaming source. I'm anticipating the eventual demise of the my squeezebox.com and Logitech Media Server. Maybe not this year or next but eventually.
Been streaming Apple iTunes Radio. It doesn't sound as good to me and has commercials. But free and better than nothing. And my daughter and gf will stream from their iPhones now. It's good for them.
