Hello everyone,

I started assembling my crack today and noticed during the transformer step that one of the fiber shoulder washers is missing. I already checked every square millimeter of my carpet around my desk and the desk itself, but it is nowhere to be found.
As I planned on building it during my week off I wanted to ask, if there might be a chance to get a replacement for it myself, without having to contact Bottlehead for it.

Thank you in advance for any help.

You might be able to find one at a specialty fastener store.  It needs to be made to sit in a 0.25" hole and to accept a #8 screw.

(We can send you a replacement though, that is what I would recommend)

Thank you both for the suggestions. I would have contacted Bottlehead, if I were not living in Germany and wanted to finish the project during my week off. Therefore I asked, if there was a possibility to get a replacement myself.
I will look around in town tomorrow and if I am not able to find something useful, I will contact them and continue when the replacement arrives.

There the ones, i ordered a bunch of them from Mouser recently http://ie.mouser.com/Search/ProductDetail.aspx?R=3065virtualkey53400000virtualkey534-3065 Doesn't really help you get them quickly though  :(

Shaldome,

You can put in the fiber washer after assembly, but it is difficult.  Cover your a$$ and order one from Bottlehead as well.
