At page 12 of the manual, it says to install the power switch with the "white dot facing the front of the chassis".

Don't make the same mistake: on the switch that I got, there was a white dot [more precisely a white circle] and a bar on the other end.  I made the mistake of installing the switch upside down....the white dot [or white circle] is actually the OFF position.  I should have known better, but I mechanically followed orders and put the "dot" in the wrong place.  Took me a few worried minutes when I first plugged it in to discover the mistake.

Yes, there seem to be some different style switches now. My Reduction came with the white dot version, BeePre with the same as you mention. Yes, the white 'circle' is Off.

I woke up to the switch mistake when I touched my meter probe in the wrong place and I heard a loud pop ....all the time thinking it was in the off position. Not to worry...I was using just one hand and wearing a thick industrial rubber glove. Still, .... it could turn out to be a deadly mistake. That's why I posted it :).
