Hi there-

I built a Crack last March and have spent the past year totally in love with it. However I changed my headphones recently and it was too much for my new ones so I decided to sell it. Despite buying a hilarious amount of bubble wrap it seems like at some point something went wrong and the person who purchased it from me cannot get it to work. He says the unit is turning on normally and the input tube is lighting up but neither of the two power tubes he's tried will turn on. This all worked normally when I shipped it and I'm crossing my fingers that something is just weird with the connection - any ideas for him to try? It feels odd that the rest works so I'm sure there's something obvious I'm missing but I'm totally stumped.

Thanks!

This would almost have to be a loose wire at B7/B8, though it's odd that the 12AU7 would light up and the 6080 would not.

Are the guide pins still present on the 6080's?
