Hi Guys

I finished the soldering on my crack, checked all the resistance and they all check out besides one ....
Terminal 13, it says in the manual it will slowly climb to 270k but mine is way off, 0.531 K.

I checked all the soldering and even resolder some things but no luck. I will go through the manual again to make sure I have not made a mistake somewhere, and if not will desolder that connection and re-do it.

Any ideas why it would be so off ?

Is it 0.531K or 0.531M?  Does it just sit there?

This isn't generally that distressing, but the two 270 Ohm resistors in series would be about .54K, which would indicate a potential short on another terminal (that should be an obvious "0" where there shouldn't be one).

I have re-tested all the other connections as per the manual and everything seems to be correct, only one other than terminal 13 that is out is the left channel centre pin which is reading at 88.8 instead of the 90 to 100 ohms it is meant to read. I re-soldered terminal 13 and have checked the two 270k resistors and they seems to be soldered correctly.

I cant seem to find any obvious shorts anywhere ?

Hi guys

Thanks for the advice Paul, I just went through the circuit again with a magnifying glass and found that one of the rectifiers was touching another one, fixed it and terminal 13 is now reading at 271ohms once settled.

Do you think its a big issue that the left channel is reading at 88.8 ? when it should be over 90.

I think you're good to go now.  The 88K reading is not a problem.
