Hi, I received the reduction kit and found the 2 #6 solder tabs missing.

https://www.evernote.com/shard/s91/sh/e960785e-d567-4a9e-a17b-5fbb06639299/4cca8c811c8e0ef6b9b4ffa4ddd42d0b

Instead of waiting probably a week to get them can I just use something like these (remove the insulator and solder) without any audio degradation?:

Thanks for any information.

The lugs you linked are oversized.  Try going to an Ace Hardware and show them what you have and they might have a replacement.

Bottlehead is good about sending parts out quickly.  Call today and it should be to you in about 3 days.  They send them first class USPS.

The link is for terminals for 1/0 wire.  That is probably larger than the wire coming into your house.  You will be wiring the kit with something like 22 AWG (American Wire Gauge).

Buried deeply inside random drawers at Home Depot, you can actually find an acceptable lug for that purpose at the correct size.

We can also mail you a pair.
