Hi folks,

Just a few simple questions:

For those with 2a3 stereomours, how hot does your plate choke get? I have been planning on putting the plate shoke in a transformer cover and I want to make sure this won't cause any problems.

Second question: is it ok to use aluminum standoffs for the power supply board instead of plastic ones?

That's it, see, simple.

Thanks,

Jim

The plate chokes on my stereomour get a little warm, but not hot.

Thanks much -- I'm going to go ahead and use the covers.

I also got an answer to my other questionm, and for the curious, yes, it is ok to use aluminum standoffs for the PS board.

I prefer to use plastic/nylon as they are non-conductive. I did use aluminum for the Crack, but I encased them in heat shrink tubing.
