Hi everyone,

I've had my S.E.X. for a while but recently moved house and I'm concerned it has been damaged in the move (at least I'm fairly sure that this is when it started). I'd describe it at as a sort of static noise with occasional buzzing. I've uploading a recording of it that demonstrates it fairly nicely. Not that the recording is on full volume with the microphone directly in front on the speaker. On a "normal" level it's only slightly audible with no other sounds and a fairly quiet room.

I've tried different phono cables and sources and the sound is coming from both speakers, or only from one speaker when the other side's phono cable is removed. This makes me think it's the amp itself.

I'm not too sure where to start with this one, so any pointers would be much appreciated :)

Sounds to me like your cell phone searching.

When I read that I had the "oh yeh, it totally is!" moment, but then listening back to it I always found the mobile interference sound to be more "blipping" than that is. I did turn all my devices in to airplane mode but it didn't fix it. Maybe it's the neighbours? I might try moving the setup to the other side of the room to see if it fixes it...
