First, thanks to all at Bottlehead for a great kit.  I've really enjoyed building the Crack.
I have a question for which I would be glad for some help.
I've done the resistance checks and the results seem ok except I can't quite get 0 ohms where I'm supposed to.
My DMM usually starts at about 2 or 3 ohms, and the reading then gradually drops to 1.4 or 1.5 ohms but doesn't go lower.
Do I have a short somewhere?
I should add that with nothing connected, touching the probes of my DMM shows about 0.4 or 0.5 ohms.  It never goes to zero.

Your zero readings are fine. There will be some small resistance present in any test setup.
