We will put up some info in a while. We are still in the process of refining the layout.

Any chance there could be some exotic metals in the trannies?

Nope.

Two considerations preclude this:

1) The exotics (especially nickel alloys) are annealed under special conditions, and are fragile - dropping a lamination on the floor for example basically ruins it. They cannot be stacked by machine - it's too rough. Hand stacking is a boutique operation and we are not a boutique transformer maker. Talk to Mike at Magnequest!

2) Core materials are hard to find in small quantities, and a commercial quantity of exotic laminations is a LOT of money, 10K to 100K I would guess. A boutique transformer maker can afford to do this occasionally, especially if the laminations can be used in multiple products. That's not us. Talk to Mike at Magnequest!

On the other hand, there will be some transformer developments if all goes as I wish. More when I know whether things will go as I wish - possibly in 2015, possibly not.
