I just received my Quickie and Quicksand kits. Plan to begin my build this weekend, and I'm going to pair them with my Fostex / Kanspea FE103En speakers from Madisound at my office, at least initially.
I was lucky enough to get a matching beautiful dark blue set of top plates, and I can't wait to figure out what color to paint my Hammond boxes, although I think this time I'll just do the assembly first.
After building my SEX (2.0 I think) it took me 10 years to order a Crack kit (which sounds unbelievable, I've listened to my HD600's more in the last month than in the entire time I've owned them) and about 2 months after finishing that I ordered the Quickie and Quicksand.
