Nice! Looks pretty immaculate. Taking your logic a step further - I keep reading about middle aged guys who used to go off road hardcore getting into trials bikes to keep riding, but in a less balls-out fashion. Chuckling to myself about that as I rode my 59 yo butt down to my 70 yo friend Bob's house yesterday on the Aprilia, to show it to him and have a look at his Lotus Elise. Couple of old farts pining for the things they never had but always wanted...On the way back I was thinking how an old guy like me could really mess himself up doing something stupid on the Ape, that I might (and occasionally did) get away with 35 years ago.

When I was young I used to envy the hell out of those gray hairs putt-putting down the road in their Porches and Ferraris at 55mph.  Nowadays I envy the gray hair guys who have the stamina to ride off road on a KLR.

I've owned a KLR since 2001. Its the Swiss Army Knife of motorcycles. Enjoy.
