Succesful crack build! Very happy :)

Hi! I finished building the crack after 3 casual nights. Had a blast actually building it! Its like Legos for adults.

Had absolutely no problems with the build. No previous experience, just very basic soldering skill. Learned how to use a multimeter on youtube. Just followed the instructions, did the resistance check, everything in order. Did the voltage check, tubes lightening up, no burning or sparks or anything weird, all perfect.

Connected the DAC to the crack, and plugged in my HD 650's... wow. I wont be getting out of this chair for some time :)

Very impressed with the stock sound so far. I still have the speedball kit to assemble; waiting to get familiar with the stock sound first!

After reading a lot of posts of people with problems, I figured I should post a success build :)

That's wonderful.

But I sure learned a lot in the three pages of troubleshooting here. I'm an eternal optimist.

Source: Lumin D2 with SBooster power supply, 2tb SSD attached to Lumin, Pre: Moreplay, Amp: Bryston 2bSST, Speakers: Joseph Audio RM22XL. Setup in large, well treated dedicated listening space.
