I got a new driver for my Stereomour. One channel starts right up the other is 2-3 seconds behind. This is with the volume up, music playing, then you power on the amp. Sounds fine after the few seconds.
What does this mean, is it a bad sign, and should I return/exchange the tube?
Thanks, Jess

Vacuum tubes take a non specified time to warm up until current begins to flow. As the two sections of your 12AT7  have separate cathodes one section seems to warm up faster then the other. Turn your amps and sources on, then wait until everything is warmed up then turn your music on.
