Eros vs Tube phono

Hello, Ive been eye balling the Eros (former seduction owner) wondering whats different in the Tube Phono. From the picture looks like dual mono PS, xfrmr input and bal output, cool chassis......how different is it? Can an Eros be upgraded by a home builder? Im at the point Id like to build/buy my last phono stage principally for archiving vinyl. I built S Yanigers HMN which is similar (D3a in triod vs pentode) and this is what Im using currently. Im saving a large lp collection to DSD2 so Im being really picky about what stage to use. I like the EF 86 input and implementation of the Eros... I miss the great photography that attracted me here years ago.

The Eros circuit is similar to the Tube Phono, but the Tube Phono is more complex and sophisticated. It does work very well for archival purposes. The first one we built included adjustable EQ for pre-RIAA LPs and was used for a recently completed hires archive of around 30,000 classical LPs. The archiving process took about five years.
