Yes, I've been using the AD2000 with the Crack almost exclusively. They sound fantastic with it. The AD2000's have a little upper mid bump which makes the mids seem a little forward compared to something like the HD800's but I really love em.
$400 is a great price for them.

The D2000 can be found on ebay for under $400.  I also saw an AKG K500 for sale on head-fi which should sound great with the crack.  I am currently using the K400 which to me is sounding better than my DT800.

You can find the Denon AH-D2000 in Amazon for about $280.

Todd, what size of coupling caps are you running at the outputs?

Yes, that's the same price I paid for mine used 3 1/2 years ago.
If I can scare up a little spare cash, I might have to get a back up pair!

Drop a pair of 330uf caps in place of the 160uf ones.

It won't solve the output impedance issue, but it will solve the bass rolloff of 160uf caps into 16 ohms, as you have a -3db point of no less than 60hz, not acceptable by most standards.
