Had the speedball installed, and everything worked great. Had one fuse blown but after replacing it was great (voltages were fine).
Some weeks ago I heard a very loud "snap" on my left channel and started hearing a very low hum or droning, but everything kept working great so I didnt care much.

Yesterday I started hearing everything was like high-pitched (like someone talking in mild fast forward). Today I used the crack at noon and it was fine. Left it running for some hours, came back and again its high-pitched. If I plug my headphones to my laptop instead of the dac+amp it sounds fine. I have a schiit modi2 as a dac.

Any ideas? Could be not crack related?

How is it with laptop+dac+phones? If good, you're left with a problem with the Crack I guess.

A DAC can do that if it is playing a 44K file at 48K.

interesting. You were right, It was a DAC thing.
Can I do something about the humming?
