I'll be purchasing a Reduction soon to pair with my Technics SL1200 series turntable, a SEX amp and Klipsch Heresy III speakers at the end of the line.  First I need to find a good cartridge match for this system.

The Ortofon 2m series seems to be a very popular choice for the 1200 series turntables.  I'm really looking at the 2m Blue http://www.ortofon.com/ortofon-2m-blue-p-333-n-1579, highest output I can find (5.5 mV) around the $250 pricepoint.

Anyway I'd love any feedback from the community on this match or any others that you guys are having good experiences with.  Cheers!

The first kit I built was the Reduction. Lots of parts, take your time and all will be fine. I'm using a 2M Blue on my lightly modded RP1. Sounds good to my ears. I don't have a pre amp so the Integration is a must with the SEX and now the Stereomour.

Yes, good point, the added gain from the Integration is going to be desirable with a S.E.X. amp.
