After puzzling over losing a channel I finally figured out that one of the hard, 1 male/2 female splitters that I added earlier in the week to run both the Quickie and the Crack from my CD player was not making good contact. It must be the pin, as it feels very snug.
The splitters and cables are both Audioquest, but the pins on the cables appear to be slightly larger diameter.
Does anyone have a trick, short of surgery on my CD player, to make the enlarged inputs useable for the "normal" RCA pins?
TIA

Try a different brand. I've had similiar problems with Audioquest products in the past.
