Went to hear a neighbor of mine play a 4 hour ambient vibe yesterday at Storyville, the coffee roaster in our business park. Dan Phelps is pretty dadgummed amazing. The music is ambient but also eminently musical. Checkout his most recent album Arc, which also features my friend Jon Evans playing bass here and there.
