Since it appears you live in India, I presume you know about Amrut which is an excellent single malt made in India.

Personally, I prefer different whisky styles depending on the weather. The more cold, wet and miserable, the more peaty the better.

If you're listening to Bottlehead gear from Bainbridge Island, maybe the best choice is our neighbor Keith's single grain -

Good stuff. Cheap here ..... just $40.  I am a single malt guy, have about 40 different kinds at home. The Amrut has another one called fusion, that's even better, just a bit higher in price.

This one is really good. Has a slight sea front flavour,  since the casks are kept there.

A wee dram: The best system enhancement I know of.

Bottoms up,

Current wee dram is the Ardbeg 10 year old

"Ardbeg Ten Years Old is revered around the world as the peatiest, smokiest, most complex single malt of them all. Yet it does not flaunt the peat; rather it gives way to the natural sweetness of the malt to produce a whisky of perfect balance. Named World Whisky of the Year in 2008."

If you like a smooth dram this is not the one for you its got a hit like a freight train! Probably go for something a bit mellower next year.
