Hi, i am building the mainline slowly too.
In the manual edition 2-22-15 via the pdf file name, i would like to point out two items i observed.
1. Power supply test on page 38
Para 7
6.3VAC should read 6.3VDC
2. OT-3 wiring on page 50
Blue pair was wired first.
I understand the rational to extend that end first by soldering the blue pair to be sure the appropriate Cat5 wiring can be extended both ends.
Starting with the blue pair first sets up the other color pairs to have difficulty in soldering access.
As the length is just right, the soldering iron has to reach behind the blue and subsequent orange pair.
The preferred solder should be reversed: brown, orange, blue.
