Can I test a 6F8G tube by using an adapter and testing it as a 6SN7.  I ask this question because I have no settings for the 6F8G but I do have the settings for the 6SN7.  Thanks in advance for your help, JS

They are close enough to use the same tester settings.

This is a bit unclear - the 6F8G is electrically the same as a 6SN7, but the pinout is different. And you need a connector for the grid that is connected to the top cap. Without knowing more about the tester, it's hard to be more clear.

I intend to use the 6SN7/6F8G adapter.
