I have installed the speedball and everything is working perfectly. (Thanks for a great product.) As was recommended in the instructions, I paused in my install to appreciate the sonic difference of the upgrade first to the 12au7 alone, and then completed the install for the 6080.

I've saved the resistors and am thinking I'd like to hear it again without the C4S on the 6080. I was thinking it might be cool to install a couple of compact single-pole/double-throw (SPDT) switches to be able to select the C4S circuit or the 3KΩ cathode load resistors for each channel (right/left).  Might allow for some nice A vs. B testing.

My question is, are there minimum voltage ratings I should keep in mind at this stage of the circuit? I've found one switch, for example, that is rated 2A/250VAC, 5A/120VAC or 28VDC.  Insulation resistance 1,000MOhms.  Contact resistance 10mOhms max initial@2-4VDC 100mA.

Sound like it should work?  Anyone done this previously with success?
Thanks very much,
Rodney

Switches for functions like this sound good, but often times will do a lot of damaged if they are switched accidentally while the amp is running.

Thanks for the warning.  In that case, I'll abandon the idea.  Consider my Crack saved!  Appreciate you taking the time, Paul.
