Error in Smash/SmashUp manuals?

In both manuals pin assignements for G2 and Anode of both 4P1Ls are swapped, consequently in the schematics, photos and instructions I have seen.
The correct pin assignement of the 4P1L is: Anode is pin #2, G2 is pin #3.
See attached datasheet. Should that be a known fact please ignore this post. I couldn't find a thread covering this topic.
I tried to figure out if the datasheet is correct by inspecting all 4P1Ls I have. In one more recent 4P1L which doesn't have the getter material spread inside to such an high extend as usual I could clearly recognize that pin #2 is connected to the base of the anode with a short wire. But it is still difficult to take a photo.
I rewired my Smash today but I don't like to give an early statement.

Yes, it looks like the plate connection is connected to the screen pin.  There isn't any harm in the Smash circuit with leaving it as-is, or you can pop the red wire off and move it over one pin on each socket.
