Questions regarding upgrading capacitors

Hi Guys,
So far I have upgraded my non speedball crack with a triad choke and cree diodes. However I am feeling the urge to upgrade my crack again, so I am tackling the capacitors next. I have a few questions though before I buy them.

First, will the Dayton Audio DMPC-100 work well and sound good in the amp? If those wont work well do you have any recommendation that are less than 40 USD? Side note when referring to film capacitors are those the same thing as metalized Polypropylene caps?

Second, are there any benefits or drawbacks to replacing the 2.2uf stock crack capacitors with film capacitors?

Finally, What are the benefits of bypassing the capacitors? I see it being done on some of the modded crack builds but I am not quite sure why its done or if I should include them in my build.

If you're ever going to put the Speedball in your Crack, I would do this before adding these caps, as you may place the caps where the Speedball needs to go.
 

Side note when referring to film capacitors are those the some thing as metalized Polypropylene caps?

The film is the dielectric material in the cap.  It can be metalized or combined with foil.  Polypropylene is one of many dielectrics used in capacitors.

Those are 220uF.  If you put 2.2uF caps in their place, you will be greeted by lots of 120Hz noise.

This is an inexpensive experiment to try on your own, then form your own opinions about how you'd like to alter your builds.

I am not planning on upgrading to speedball. Do the voltages matter for the 100uf capacitors? I have seen many different voltages installed in photos. Also my mistake I was getting the specs for the stock caps confused with the recommended bypass spec.

I don't think you'll find a 100uF film cap with much less than a 160V rating, which is fine for the coupling caps.
