I'm thinking about trying a 10H 100-120 DCR choke in the PS in place of the last 120R resistor. It looks good in PSUD - knocks ripple to about 1mV. But I need to know the max DC current draw of the amp to choose an appropriate choke.  Is this a known figure?

Edit: rethinking this in light of a 2016 post by Doc B to the effect that a choke might blunt transient response - not what I want. But the HV DC current draw would still be good to know.

many thanks, Derek
