I recently built a Crack but not yet the speedball add on. Since the build I have had random dropouts where the volume drops 20dB and the distortion is 100%. This happens on both channels. I eventually traced the issue to the headphone jack. I'm not sure what is happening because the jack is sealed.

Has any one else had this problem?  Is there a part number for this part so I can replace it?

Why do you believe the headphone jack is responsible?  I think in 20 years we have seen between 1 and 0 headphone jacks that were bad from the manufacturer.   I would be almost positive that this is a solder joint issue.  We find that it is incredibly common to see one of the two black wires that connect to the headphone jack just get completely missed when soldering, and this will cause a lot of distortion and other weird problems.

Apologies, it does seem to be a solder joint issue.   :-[
