Hi,

So I'm a noob with tubes - this being my first tube amp - so apologies for the dumb question.

Just looking at the 6C45Pi's on my new Mainline and the left hand one glows brighter than the right hand one. The left has two bright "spots", the right has a bright "spot" and a barely glowing "spot".  (please see pictures).

Is this normal?

Thanks,

Paul.

That's completely normal and technically none of the heater would need to stick up for the tube to function properly.
