TL;DR love the amp so far
So I eventually got everything sorted and sat down for my first listening session, at first I thought I heard some distortion switched back to my other amp but could not quite place it.
So I kept listening and kept wondering what would this LP sound like and then this one and before I knew it I had been listening for 2 hours and re-listening to many of my favorite albums.
To me that is what matters, I am not a reviewer so not going to pretend I can hear that it is more dynamic or has more low end punch or whatever. I just know I really enjoyed listening to some of my favorite albums on the SMII. It was different than listening to them other amps I have but I enjoyed it.
For reference I have a set of Amp Camp class A amps in mono block that I really like and still do, and a trusty Rega Brio. I use a set of Klipsch Forte IV's.
For both options I use the moreplay but looks like I might have to consider the bigger pre-amp hehe
