Aluminum plate

I have not received my kit yet, thinking ahead. Does the aluminum plate need to be sealed if I decide to sand/brush it even more?? I like the raw look, not going to paint it.

You could always spray it with clear, depending on the dampness in your area it would take quite a while but it could take on a patina. I ended up spraying mine with a bronze color. Good luck with your build , I was very satisfied with mine.

The raw aluminum will look about the same indefinitely.
