Hi! First-time builder back with another question. I seem to have stumbled out of the gate in wiring my Crack: the 2 1/2" length of bus wire I cut for power input wiring proved 1/4" too short to reach 16L. Unfortunately, I'd already soldered the wire to the E tab when I discovered this (guess it pays to look a couple moves ahead). I've got a desoldering pump and some solder wick, so I feel confident I can desolder the wire, but how do I remove the bus wire afterward? It'll still be welded to the E tab, no?

You can put a tight U shaped bend in the short end, then take the leftover bus wire piece that you have and also make tight U shaped bend.  Hook the two together, crimp them both so they stay put, the solder them together.

Amazing, I would have never considered joining the two that way. Thanks a ton for saving the day (again).
