Hello! As per the FAQ, I am going to attempt fixing an issue that I have (can't turn volume up, channels are imbalanced). I am an circuit idiot, and bottlehead's assembly manual has conditioned me to require explicit instructions, so I would just like to clarify what it is I'm supposed to do. From what I gather I basically insert a 75k resistor along the white and red wires from the RCA jacks to the volume pot, but the language concerning the 33k resistors is a bit more vague to me. Two 33k resistors in total, one on each "tier" of lugs on the volume pot, each of them soldered between the outermost lugs (these being the same lugs the aforementioned wires originating from the RCA jack are attached to, as well as the grounds). Attached you will find an expert schematic of what I have interpreted accompanied with generational penmanship.

Many thanks

What you have drawn looks correct.  There's also a picture of the resistors installed on a pot at the bottom of the first post on the Crack FAQ (though it's tough to see the second 33K resistor).

Oh I failed to see that. Ok, wonderful, thank you.
