hey group,
been looking for some 50 uf/400vdc/5% caps for a speaker crossover. would like some Auricaps but Audience hasn't responded to my request. They may just not be making them in small quantities any more. I've considered Obligato aluminum foil as they're available in 47uf. Any suggestions?
regards, John

John

Hi John - Try an email to Corie Gist at Audience ([email protected]).  He processed my order once they had made the caps.  Good luck.

You might consider motor run caps. They are certainly cheap enough and many people think they sound good.

Hi John,
I use Jensen PIO caps in my crossovers but they're pretty pricey and I'm not sure if they have 50uF (or thereabouts ) without combining a couple.
I know some folks who swear by the Obligattos bypassed with around 10% Dynamicaps, Mundorf, etc for crossovers.
