We have a trimpot wired as a variable resistor on each input. That is a very clean and simple way for someone with DIY ability to get exactly the value they want, you just put an ohmmeter across the trimpot and trim it to the value. We could even throw a couple of different pots in to cover different ranges, like a 1K and a 10K.
How about 100K? It would be perfect for my cassette Seduction. I couldn't use SUTs because the heads need a 100k load. And my own try at a vacuum tube based step-up device was too noisy.
Hmmm, I hope the answer is no because I got rid of the deck I was using for this project!
