Having lost out on the sale of the sex 2.1 because I felt it was not enough
power I was able to borrow a first generation sex amp with the Speco OT on
my 96db single fullrange driver system providing a very musical and detailed
sound expression and was very sup-prized on how good a 2w triode amp
sounded in comparison to my 5w KT88 triode connected SE amp driven by a
tube preamp.
Specially when you look at the tiny Speco OT you would thing this it not able
to provide any power at 50hz never mind full power at 30hz which it seems to
be doing, the punch provided is very close the same as my SE KT88.
The new Sex 2.1 should be better with having bigger OT,s highly recommended
if someone has efficient speakers.
