These enormous binding posts used to be an option in the parts section but no longer seem available.

Does anyone know if they are still available?  Is the OEM still around?

We have not made them available for years. This one looks close, but not quite the same.

They don't mount snugly with the soft plastic insulators. We modified them with a larger nylon washer and a copper washer under that to properly clamp on the chassis panel. They look cool, and grab large bare wire well. OK but not great with banana plugs and rather difficult to clamp onto spades. When the price nearly doubled a few years back we tried some similar looking ones (similar to those shown at PE) but they were not the same physically, nor of the the same level of finish. So we went to the more typical posts that everyone uses.

Thanks Doc, The SEX amp I purchased a few months ago from you had the Big Studs on it and they are quite impressive.  I've used the PE ones for speaker projects and they aren't quite the same, though they seem to work nicely when mounted in wood.

Be safe in the snow.  Take care.
