Just unstalled the speedball upgrade now not sound in left channel. Amp worked fine before upgrade. All voltages are within 15%. Everything lights up. Any ideas?

I moved the output cap to the other side of the tag strip to make room to bend it over and installed it backwards. Yea, I feel pretty dumb. Not like it's hard to see, but missed it twice while trouble shooting. Over all both the Crack and Speedball builds were pretty simple. The Speedball really opens up the amp.

I can't remember which amp is was now, but I do remember doing the same thing.  I was just patting myself on the back after doing a really tricky solder job on one of the power filter caps.

I was feeling pretty good, like a surgeon that had just done an amazing bit of life-saving work.

Then came that "Lizzard Poop!" moment when I realized that I had it backwards.  You can check, check, and then check again but sometimes when you are trying to get that thing in a tricky spot, it just gets turned around somehow.

Good thing yours was in the output stage.  If you had fired it up with one backwards in the Power supply you might have seen some nice fireworks.

I know what you mean about building it yourself.  I've owned more amps than I can remember but I've never enjoyed any amp more then the ones I've built.

Revel in your build!

... Yea, I feel pretty dumb. ...
Trust me, we've all been there.  :^)  more often than not, a problem is found to be so stupid we won't admit it to anyone. But we'll all sympathize with anyone who does!

Hey! I have the same problem...... but I couldn't fixed. Moreover, I broke one of the LED's. Now Just one of my channel is working the right channel. I have to wait for parts firts then work in it again... It was working fine but when I installed the speedball everything came down...
I will be in touch to find out if that is my problem...
