I've always been a great admirer of Alan Lomax and all the other less famous folks who searched out and recorded the world's musical history which is woefully under appreciated by popular culture.
He always dreamed of creating the "Global Jukebox" where anyone, anywhere could listen to the audible heritage of the world. Luckily, his heirs have continued to archive Alan's recordings, photos and video.
Just like me, you may not have the time to check out the whole thing right now but it's certainly found a home on my "bucket list".
