Hey folks.  Putting together my SEX 2.1.  Of course...have a couple questions:

- the manual has another style of headphone jack than the one I received.  So, when it refers to put X wire on terminal # of the headphone jack...you get the picture.  I have the newer style (round tube...not square)...so, can anyone point me to a diagram which shows which terminal is what # noted in the manual?  IE...which is terminal 3 on the jack...so on so forth?

-Just to confirm.  On the plate chokes...both the right and left...BOTH have their black leads clipped right?  Just wanted to make sure.  I believe this to be correct...clip both black leads.

Thanks everyone.  Much appreciated.

I think you got the wrong manual. When the square jack was discontinued, a quick one sheet was made to explain how to wire the round jack until the manual could be revised. There is now a version of the manual that shows the round jack. A couple other things also got fixed with that manual. PM me your e-mail and I can send you the correct one.

I built mine a few months ago, and it was shipped with a jack, different from the one in the manual. They sent me a write up on how it was to be connected. Write to Doc and he will guide you.

Hello,
I have the same problem as a topic starter. I have a different headphone jack, than in the instruction manual: I have a round one, while manual description is for a square jack.
Could any of you guys please e-mail me the right headphone jack wiring instructions at [email protected]

I would really appreciate that.

regards,
